Christ is the Seat of All Power
Christ, the only begotten Son of God has been resurrected and is, unquestionably, the seat of all authority.
Matthew 28:18; “18And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.”
Satan has been defeated and has no authority over those who know the truth of Christ’s victory.
Ephesians 2:5 – 6; “5Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) 6And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:”
Believers need no other agents of support, because they now reside in Jesus Christ. Just believe, and your resistance to Satan and his evil empire is guaranteed. As a Christian, you inherit freedom.
Ephesians 1:18 – 21; “18The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, 19And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, 20Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, 21Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:”
2 Corinthians 10:3 – 5; “3For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: 4(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) 5Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;”
Colossians 2:4 – 10; “4And this I say, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words. 5For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the stedfastness of your faith in Christ. 6As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: 7Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. 8Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. 9For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. 10And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:”
