Thought For the Day

If we believe, even though our circumstances seem extreme, the more likely we are to see Christ at work in the situation.

Psalms 27:13 – 14; “13 I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. 14 Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.”

Psalms 33:20; “20 Our soul waiteth for the LORD: he is our help and our shield.”

Romans 8:26 (KJV) 26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.”

Isaiah 40:30 – 31; “30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: 31But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”
